HOUSING NEEDS ANALYSIS

As part of the Consultation Process in Spring 2017, all households were asked to complete a questionnaire if they would like to move within Goodrich over the next 5 years or whether  they or their family living locally had a need for housing in the parish

ASSESSMENT OF DEVELOPMENT SITES

The criteria for the assessment of Development Sites has been developed by the NDP Team and is given below; this was formally approved by the Parish Council. This is based on the results of the Questionnaires and previous consultation, as well as professional input to identify the areas and options that could be considered.

RANKING OF SITES FOR PUBLIC REVIEW NOVEMBER 2017

All sites offered by landowners that met the Herefordshire Criteria for Rural Housing, being in or adjacent to existing settlements and not being single plots, were assessed (see criteria above) and the ranking proposed by the Planning Consultant and fully supported by the NDP Steering Group is given below.

THE FINAL REPORT OF HOUSING REQUIREMENTS AND  SITE ASSESSMENTS

Following the November review the Draft Plan identified 3 sites. The definitive analysis of all the sites submitted, those rejected for not meeting planning criteria and those assessed and ranked are given in the independent report below. Sites 1,2 and 6 are proposed. It should be noted that Site 6 has since been granted planning permission.
